The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967)

The only Beatles album me and my mates really dug... because it was so weird and trippy, and so different from their prettier stuff. It still has some drippy moments — thanks to you know who! — but Lennon's gritty genius prevails in the end.
