Been a Robert Palmer fan since his Vinegar Joe days. This solo debut, whose contagious funkiness remains undiminished through the years, was a firm favourite for much of the '70s and '80s.

Backed by members of Little Feat and the Meters, Palmer struts his stuff with more soul than you'd expect of a white Englishman from a place called Batley.
