Hall & Oates - They Very Best of Daryl Hall and John Oates

Just the kind of stuff I'd put on the turntable when I was hungry for some ear candy. And I can report that hits like 'Sara Smile', 'Rich Girl' and 'Private Eyes' have hardly aged. Might not be everybody's cup of tea, but it can make for pleasant listening, especially when your mind's too tired for anything deep or complex.

Oh, did I mention that I got to interview them for a newspaper in the late '80s?
